We offer shared and private sunrise flight options, with both options providing an amazing ride experience in our state of the art balloons, breathtaking views of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, and a post-flight champagne toast. Whether you choose a shared flight or an intimate private flight for 2 or 4 people, you’ll enjoy the same exceptional service and unforgettable experience. Click here to learn more about the Flight Experience. At different times of the year, we fly from different locations and offer different amazing flight experiences:
- We start our season at the Wooden Shoe Farm for their Tulip Festival (March 20-May 3).
- From May 4 through July 23 we fly from our home location out of Aurora Airport. These Willamette Valley flights offer stunning views of the valley, great sunrises, and amazing views of all the PNW mountains!
- July 24- August 16 we fly again from Wooden Shoe Farm for their Summer Flowers show, where there will be 30 acres of Sunflowers and wildflowers.
- We will then conclude our season flying through October 4th back at home at Aurora Airport (Think changing colors for fall, amazing clear views, etc).

Shared Flights:
Join a few others in a basket that typically accommodates between 8-10 people. Our state of the art baskets are compartmentalized to ensure safety and comfort. This option provides a serene yet social atmosphere where you can share the magic of hot air ballooning and stunning views with a small group. Price: Our Willamette Valley Shared Sunrise Flight are $260 per person, $235 for groups of 3 or more, $210 for children under 12. Our festival Sunrise Flights (Tulips & Sunflowers) are $275 per person, $250 for groups of 3 or more, $225 for children under 12.) |
Private Flights:
This option is perfect for those seeking a more intimate adventure. Enjoy the exclusivity of having the balloon to yourselves (with a pilot of course), making it perfect for special occasions such as anniversaries, engagements, or small family gatherings. The flight is ideal for couples, families, or small groups. All of our private flight offer doors to easily get in and out of the basket (securely latched and reinforced during flight). Price: Private Sunrise Flights for 2 people start at $900. Private Sunrise Flights for 4 start at $1650. |
Both Flights:
- Scenery & Flight Experience: Enjoy breathtaking views of the Willamette Valley, including landmarks like Mt. Hood & Mt St. Helens. We fly over amazing hop fields, vineyards, Oregon hazelnuts, forests, and so much more. Your pilot will point out the amazing features of the Willamette Valley and answer any questions you may have of the area or the process and magic of hot air ballooning.
- Duration: The entire adventure lasts about 2.5 hours, including pre-flight preparations, the flight itself (45 minutes to 1 hour), and the post-flight champagne toast.
- Location: In March & April we meet and fly from the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. From May-October, we meet and fly from Aurora Airport just 15 minutes from Portland. Both locations offer stunning views and an amazing experience.
