Launch Location and Directions
While preparing the balloon for flight, your pilot and crew will invite you to become involved with the inflation process. Be more than just a passenger. Your “hands on” experience will make you feel like a full-fledged balloonist. Make sure you bring your camera and plenty of film.
Our balloons take off from Aurora Airport. Directions to Aurora Airport, together with a map are detailed below. Your pilot will telephone you late in the afternoon prior to your flight to confirm. Please ensure you meet promptly, wind and weather sometimes causes us to relocate to a different launch site once we have meet at Aurora Airport.

From the North (on I-5):
Drive south on I-5 past Wilsonville, and then take exit 282a (be careful not to take exit 282b, just preceding it — you want the second exit just after crossing the Boone Bridge). The first traffic light will be NE Arndt Rd., where you will turn left. The next intersection will be another traffic light, at the intersection of Airport Rd., where you will turn right. Go about 1/4 mile and turn into the parking lot at the big "General Aviation Services" sign, which leads to the Willamette Aviation parking lot.
From the South (on I-5):
Drive past Woodburn a few miles until you reach the Aurora exit (278). Turn right and drive a couple of miles to the first stoplight. At the light, turn left and go to the next stoplight. Turn right on Arndt Rd. The next intersection will be another traffic light, at the intersection of Airport Rd., where you will turn right. Go about 1/4 mile and turn into the parking lot at the big "General Aviation Services" sign, which leads to the Willamette Aviation parking lot.
